A Place Where Food, Community, and Purpose Come Together
We believe food is more than sustenance; it’s a way to create opportunity, strengthen connections, and serve those in need. Olive & Barley provides the space, tools, and support that allow food entrepreneurs and nonprofits to thrive, ensuring that every meal made fuels something greater.
With humility, integrity, and a commitment to service, we create a space where people can grow, give, and make a lasting impact.
A Place Where Ideas Become Reality
It all begins with a vision—an idea that food has the power to bring people together, create opportunity, and serve the community. Maybe you dream of launching a food business. Maybe you want to take your passion for cooking to the next level. Or maybe you’re looking for a way to give back and make a difference.
That’s why Olive & Barley exists—a space designed for food entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and culinary creators to grow, connect, and serve. More than just a kitchen, it’s a place where businesses are built, meals are shared, and impact is made every day.
Your story belongs here, and the way you shape it can change lives.
Food with Purpose
Meet Our Founders, Dr. R. Bryan & Amanda Benafield
Bryan and Amanda have long believed in the power of sharing a meal to nourish not just the body, but the heart and soul. Their journey began with a community group serving the homeless, where they saw firsthand how food could create connection and restore dignity. This calling led them to establish Table 7three, providing no-cost meals to those in need.
As their mission grew, so did their vision. The Kitchens at Olive & Barley was born out of a desire to expand access to food, empower food entrepreneurs, and build a space that serves both businesses and the community. This state-of-the-art commissary kitchen will provide a home for food makers while helping sustain the outreach of Table 7three, ensuring more meals reach those who need them most.
Amanda serves as the Executive Director of Table 7three, while Bryan continues to lend his skills and passion to the kitchen—often found smoking something delicious on his Moberg smoker, “Augie.” Together, they are building a future where food is a force for good.
